The UK is still open to visitors. However, the UK government has advised against all inessential travel and instructed that UK citizens remain at home.
Many countries have travel restrictions in place, and international visitors should check their own government’s guidelines for advice before any essential travel to London.
You can apply to visit the UK
The UK government has placed a ban on public gatherings of more than two people, and public transport must only be used for essential travel.
Many events have been postponed or cancelled. Attractions, restaurants, pubs, shops, theatres, public spaces and other London venues have temporarily closed as a result of government advice.
In light of the UK government recommendations, the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and UK Theatre venues have ended current performances.
