With a Global Talent visa the main applicant can:

  • Applicants can apply for settlement after 5 years if they enter the UK on the Exceptional Promise route, or 3 years if they gain a Global Talent visa.

The UK Scale-up visa is a newly introduced route started as an alternative route with the aim to attract international talent and make it convenient for faster-growing businesses to bring in qualified and skilled individuals.
To be eligible for this visa, you must have a Certificate of Sponsorship from a UK Home Office authorised company as a Sponsor.

Eligibility criteria for the UK Scale-Up visa

The applicant must be able to prove that they are –
  • Above 18 years of age
  • Have a valid medical certificate confirming they have undergone tests for active pulmonary tuberculosis and that this tuberculosis is not present in them, only for countries that are on the UK’s list of mandatory TB-test requirement. This means, migrants coming from the listed countries, must have a TB-negative certificate.
  • Must achieve at least 70 points from the table below

The UK Innovator visa

As the name sounds, the UK Innovator visa is for applicants looking to set up and run an innovative business in the UK. However, it must be something that’s different from anything else on the market. Your business or business idea must also be endorsed by a UK Home Office-approved body, also known as an endorsing body. You must also meet other eligibility requirements.

The UK Skilled Worker visa

A UK Skilled Worker visa is for those looking to come or stay in the UK to work an eligible job with an approved employer.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a Skilled Worker visa, you must meet the following requirements:

  • work for a UK employer who has received Home Office approval
  • obtain a ‘certificate of sponsorship’ from your company detailing the role you’ve been given in the United Kingdom
  • work in one of the jobs on the list of those who are eligible.
  • be paid a minimum wage, the amount of which varies depending on the type of work you do
