You can now cover more European destinations while you visit the UK. This summer 2022, these are the Schengen area countries you can add to your bucket-list to visit with your loved ones.
You have to be mindful of submitting your application as soon as possible, as there is a delay in processing UK visas.

The following EU and Schengen visa application centres have resumed their work in India from March 2022
Slovenia
- Authorities in Slovenia have announced that the visa application centre in Mumbai, India, will open its doors to citizens every Monday to Friday.
- The Slovenia Visa Application Centre in Ahmedabad has resumed operations, operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
- Furthermore, the citizens are now allowed to visit Slovenia’s visa centre located in Ahmedabad, India, and require services after Slovenia’s visa centre in this country has resumed short-stay visa category services, offering its services every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
- The visa application centre in Pune, India, has also resumed its services from mid-March, operating every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM.
- The visa centre located in Hyderabad, also started to offer its services. The Slovenia Visa Application Centre in Hyderabad will resume operations from March 9 2022, operating Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM.
Portugal
Portugal, has announced that its visa application centre located in Pune has resumed its services from March 14, operating from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Switzerland
- Switzerland’s visa application centres located in India also have resumed their work.
- The Switzerland Visa Application Centres in Puducherry and Ahmedabad have resumed operations.
- The centre in Puducherry operates from 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday.
- The centre in Ahmedabad operates from 9 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Thursday.
