2025 - UK Home Office immigration and nationality fees (Updated)

Introduction

The UK Home Office sets the fees for visa, immigration and nationality applications and services.

On 19 March 2025, the Home Office published an updated table of fees that will come into effect on 9 April 2025. This page provides an overview of the fees that applicants will need to pay when submitting immigration or nationality applications to the Home Office or UK Visas and Immigration from that date. It covers standard visa application fees as well as optional premium services. The fees apply to applications submitted from both outside and within the UK.

Key updates in the April 2025 fee changes include increased costs for various visa categories, such as visit visas, work visas (including Skilled Worker visas), and study visas. There are also increases in fees for Indefinite Leave to Remain and Naturalisation. Furthermore, fees for Sponsorship, including the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), are also changing.

When preparing an immigration or nationality application on or after 9 April 2025, it is important to consult the current fee table to ensure the correct amount is paid. This page provides a summary of the latest fees set by the Home Office, effective from 9 April 2025.
